Kathy

Hi. My name is Kathy! I have lived in Foxboro all of my life. My husband and I have five children between us and are also blessed with a granddaughter.  I come from a family of elementary teachers.

For the past 31 years, I have been a cake decorator at a local supermarket. I made a recent change in my life to work with young children which is something I’ve always wanted to do and I am very happy to have joined Little Bees Lab Preschool earlier this year.

I’m so excited to watch them grow up!

Elizabeth

Hi my name is Elizabeth Platt and I’m from Peru. I work in the toddler room as an assistant and I just love it! Each child has his/her own wonderful sense of individuality. Every day they reminded me of how awesome it is to be a kid. My prior experience as a childcare giver started in Florida (Bright future academy) for a year. I just moved back to Massachusetts where I have the opportunity to work in the same field again, thanks to Mrs. Marie and her wonderful team of staff. I believe your children would get the love and attention they all deserve at Little Bees.

Working with kids has always been a passion of mine. This is why I am wicked excited to work at Little Bees Lab. The kids are so funny and I love watching them learn and grow. I love kids and what I do. I encourage all who work with children to see each child as a unique individual and learn from them what they know, as you teach them what they have not yet come to learn! Thank you for allowing me to work with your children and be a part of their daily growth!

Markcaya

Hi, my name is Miss Markcaya or you may know me as Miss Caya. I am in the Preschool classroom. I am the oldest of four siblings in my family. I have worked with children for the past ten years from helping families with children at a homeless shelter, babysitting, the Easton YMCA Summer Camp and their Before and After School program. Working with children has been my passion since I was fourteen years old. My family has helped me along the way over the years and watched me grow into the wonderful teacher I am today. My favorite thing about working with children of all ages is that I get to make a difference in their lives and make sure they are happy throughout the day! I love hearing children laugh or seeing them smile when I spend time with them.

Ashley

Hi, my name is Ashley, and I am an Infant Room teacher. I am the mom of 3 boys and out of everything in life, that has been my biggest accomplishment. I went to Framingham State University and graduated with my bachelor’s degree majoring in Sociology with a concentration in Deviance and Social Control and a minor in Psychology. Children have always been my passion. I grew up knowing that I wanted to work with small children. From a very young age, my grandmother did foster care and I always stayed involved helping her care for the children. In high school I received an award for Excellence in Childhood Development. I planned to go to college for Early Childhood Education but then decided to shift more to the psychological aspect as I feel that is a very overlooked part of their development. I am a very nurturing person and believe that building that bond with children in the youngest years of their lives is crucial to the development of their future relationships. Having a job you love makes it not feel like work.
